MJ Leisure began 14 years ago with a simple dream — to bring proper Old Tyme fairground fun back to families across Yorkshire and beyond.

What started as a small, family-run setup has grown into a travelling fairground built on hard work, passion and pride. From the very beginning, MJ Leisure has always been about more than just rides. It’s about laughter, memories, and giving people a place to switch off, smile, and enjoy time together.

Over the years, we’ve travelled to village fêtes, festivals, farm parks, seaside towns and community events, slowly building up our collection of rides, games and attractions. Every season, we’ve reinvested, improved and expanded — not because we have to, but because we care about what we put out for the public.

Today, MJ Leisure offers a mix of classic and modern attractions including Dodgems, Swingboats, Toyset rides, Hook-a-Duck, Milk Churn games and more — all presented in a traditional fairground style that celebrates the magic of the past while meeting today’s safety and quality standards.

Safety and professionalism are at the heart of everything we do. All our rides are ADIPS tested, fully insured, and operated by trained staff who genuinely care about giving families a safe and enjoyable experience.

But MJ Leisure is still, at its core, a family business. You’ll often find multiple generations working side by side — setting up, running rides, welcoming visitors and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Many of our customers have grown up visiting us and now bring their own children along, which is something we’re incredibly proud of.
